A New King

Studio painting continues. Last week I continued to make portraits of my new "people" that arrived. The little sailor pig was particularly delightful and has had his portrait done in watercolour and been added to the pile, under Master King of the Hill.

The large painting of the boy doll has had a second layer done, with highlights of dark and light.

I've been trying to draw the animals under the doll figure, but just can't get it right, if the drawing doesn't work I'll just start painting. The rubber animals want to be much bigger than they were in the large study, maybe I will let them be over large? I'm not happy with my drawings of the new animals that arrived a few weeks ago either, but I will post them anyway.
